At first, when I saw these posters they reminded me some famous works of last decades painting history-such as post-painterly abstract works-then, I realized that they will be displayed in 2012 as a part of the Government Art Collection. I think we can find more from the past in this collection, and connect it to ‘here and now’. And that is so funny when everything-which is not even published-produced by the artist, must be collected, and there is a bureaucratic system which always awaits behind the art to collect everything from the past. There is a ‘desire’ to make everything as a glorious memorial, and why not be it sport?

Thanks Nima, it is useful to know how various contemporary artists are reflecting on the Olympics- even if the work is enhancing only good/positive outcome of this international event!
